Just like we humans, vines build character from struggle. High atop Mt. Veeder, the vines for this Malbec must dig deep and, as a result, they produce concentrated aromas and flavors. A gorgeous opening of roses and rhubarb leads to huckleberry, raspberry and hints of coffee on the palate. A second glass is nearly impossible to resist.
