Aromas of fresh Meyer lemon, grapefruit and honeysuckle are complemented by an elegant palate with notes of stone fruit, white peach and a crisp minerality. Volcanic influence from Mount Konocti creates well-drained vineyards rich in black obsidian and quartz crystal.  The diverse elevations and mountain climate conditions lead to low humidity and large temperature fluctuations - hot days to cold nights, allowing for good acid retention during ripening.
